How to take (dosage)

For optimal fat-burning results, Burn Lab Pro recommends taking 2-4 capsules 30-minutes before a fasted workout.

Burn Lab pro says it's safe for long-term use thanks to its all-natural and stimulant-free formula.

What is Fasted training?

Fasted training, simply means to exercise on an empty stomach. The primary purpose of this is to increase your body's ability to break down fat and convert it to energy for exercise.

How does fasted training work?

When you eat, your body converts the food into glucose (your body's most readily-accessible source of energy). Any Glucose that can’t be immediately used by the body is then stored in the liver and muscles are glycogen. During this time, Insulin levels rise considerably, preventing any form of fat-burning. When you start exercising, your body breaks down the remaining glycogen stores and converts it back into glucose which can then be used as energy.

When you go for a lengthy period (anywhere from 8 hours) without consuming calories, your body enters a fasted state. This is when insulin levels are low and glycogen stores are depleted. To sustain activity, your body has to look elsewhere for a source of readily available and sustainable energy. Cue the fat burning!

Weight loss vs Fat loss

Weight loss and fat loss are not the same thing and should never be confused. While the overall number on the scale might be the result of both, weight loss means reducing your overall body weight, be it from a reduction of muscle, fat, water, etc by creating a calorie deficit from diet and exercise. Fat loss (or fat burning) on the other hand is a slightly more complex process, one in which the body breaks down and converts fat to fuel for energy, whilst hopefully maintaining lean muscle mass. The latter of which is far more beneficial for good health and body composition.

Why you should focus on fat loss and not weight loss?

In theory weight loss is a very simple concept. Create a calorie deficit large enough from either diet and/or exercise and theoretically, you should lose weight. However, if you focus on quick weight loss with little regard to where the weight is coming from, you risk losing significant lean muscle mass (the beautiful stuff that shapes the body) in the process and while you might not necessarily care when you see the number on the scale moving in the right direction, losing muscle mass is awful for your basal metabolic rate (the number of calories your body burns throughout the day). Therefore if you want to stay lean for longer and keep your metabolism revved up, focus on optimizing fat burning instead of simply losing weight. You'll feel a million times better and you'll look it too!

Do you need to take a fat burner?

As with all the supplements that I review, I always like to address whether or not you actually need the product in question. In this particular case, do you need Burn Lab Pro?

Straight off the bat, I can tell you that there is no magic pill or solution for instant fat loss! If you want to get lean, you have to put in the work and that means setting realistic expectations, choosing the right exercise and nutrition plan and then committing to it.

With that said, if burn lab pro can help optimize fat-burning whilst preventing muscle breakdown in a fasted state and make life that little bit easier, which I believe it did for me, you’ve got nothing to lose!

Does Burn Lab Pro work?

After taking Burn Lab Pro (before my fasted cardio workouts) over the summer for 4 months, I was really pleased by the results, and while it's very hard to determine the exact efficacy of the product, I found that not only was I able to hit my body fat percentage goal for the year, I seemed to have loads of energy during workouts and that surprised me! Whether or not it helped me preserve muscle on the other hand, is, if I'm honest, impossible to tell. While measuring body fat is fairly easy and can be done using a cheap body-fat caliper, keeping track of exact body composition without high-tech and costly tests like Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is almost always going to be somewhat inaccurate.

As a personal trainer and sports nutrition specialist, I'm extremely focused, committed and more often than not, diligent when it comes to eating a clean and healthy diet, but I find that as I age, my ability to get and stay lean gets a little harder every year. Burn Lap Pro certainly seemed to help give me the little boost (or burn if you like) that I needed this year and I will most certainly continue to take it before all of my cardio workouts in the future.

Note: I took Burn Lab Pro in conjunction with Performance Lab SPORT BCAA for a little extra muscle protection during fasted cardio. This was more habit than a necessity on my part.

Conclusion: Should you take Burn Lab Pro?

As I mentioned above. There is no magic pill that will do all the work for you. If you want to lose weight and burn fat, first and foremost, you have to put in the work and stay consistent.

I've always been a little cautious when it comes to fat-burning supplements. Mainly because they make bold claims and are often packed full of caffeine and synthetically produced ingredients that can produce side effects.

Burn Lab Pro is different. Their cutting-edge ingredients and commitment to creating a clean and effective fat burner that not only claims to break down fat but also helps maintain muscle mass during fasted and high-intensity exercise is superior to the other products that I've come across on the market. While some do claim to increase your body's ability to break down fat, very few can do both.

If like me you enjoy fasted cardio and high intensity-workouts and are looking to burn off stubborn body fat whilst preserving lean muscle or if you just need a little extra boost to help you reach your ideal body fat percentage, I highly recommend giving it a try.

My score: 9/10

Burn Lab pro is so confident that you’ll love it, they offer you a 30-day money-back guarantee if you aren’t 100% satisfied.
