Testo Lab Pro Overview

Testo Lab Pro is a 100% Natural Testosterone-boosting supplement manufactured by Opti-Nutra.

Unlike many other testosterone supplements on the market, Testo Lab Pro doesn't use any harsh synthetic ingredients. Instead, they use cutting-edge technology and researched-backed ingredients for what they call the 3 strategies for naturally boosting testosterone.

What is the Testo Lab Pro 3 strategy for boosting testosterone:

1. Restores essential vitamins and minerals to the optimal levels required to increase Testosterone. Vitamin D, K1 and K2, Magnesium, and Zinc.

2. Fights against free radicals and feminizing Testosterone “killers” such as Synthetic estrogens that can be found in water, soil, plastics & foods.

3. Raises Testosterone levels via multiple masculine pathways.

Ingredients

Testo Lab Pro is GMP Certified, Vegetarian, is Non-GMO and non-irradiated, is free of gluten, synthetic additives, caffeine, artificial colors and preservatives. It's also banned substance tested - an important factor for athletes and/or those that compete at a professional level.

Vitamin D (As NutriGenesis) 50mcg / 250%

Shown to improve total testosterone, bioactive testosterone & free testosterone. Competes with SHBG, helping to increase the availability of bioactive Testosterone. Higher vitamin D levels are associated with greater muscle strength. Restores a key masculine sex vitamin; Low Vitamin D is associated with erectile problems, reduced sperm count, and low sperm activity.

Vitamin K1 and K2 (As NutriGenesis) 50mcg / 42%

Some research suggests that low levels of vitamin K may reduce Testosterone levels.

Magnesium (As NutriGenesis) 50mg / 12%

Helps to sustain free Testosterone and is shown to boost Testosterone in both athletes & sedentary men. Competes with SHBG, helping to increase the availability of bioactive Testosterone. Required for healthy muscle function; helps soothe & relax muscles post-workout.

Zinc (As NutriGenesis) 30mg / 272%

Plays a key role in raising testosterone production and maintaining testosterone release. Suboptimal zinc leads to low testosterone, testicle shrinkage, man-boobs and virility decline. Enhances athletic performance; maintains Testosterone that usually drops during exercise. Plays a key role in maintaining Testosterone release.

Boron (As NutriGenesis) 6mg /

Shown in early research to help increase testosterone by 28%. Shown in early research to help reduce estrogen by 38%, blocks SHBG, raises antioxidants that protect testes from free radicals. An essential mineral that helps to support robust muscle function & development.

KSM-66® Ashwagandha Root Extract 600mg /
(Withania somnifera) (root) (5% Withanolides)

Shown to increase testosterone by 17% and luteinizing hormone by 34%. Shown to reduce Testosterone-killing stress hormone cortisol by 57%. Shown to produce significant muscle size and strength gains. Helps improve cardiorespiratory endurance, stamina and oxygen usage. Accelerates muscle recovery and reduces muscle soreness. Used in Ayurvedic herbalism to promote masculine sex drive and virility. Boosts sperm count 167%, semen volume 53%, sperm activity 57%.

D-Aspartic Acid from Calcium Chelate (D-AA-CC) 600mg /

Messenger molecule signals GnRH to stimulate LH for Testosterone production and release. Signals for release of growth hormone that contributes to muscle development. Helps raise and release FSH, which works together with Testosterone to promote healthy sperm formation, sperm count and sperm activity.

Mucuna Pruriens Extract 300mg /
(Seed) 15% levodopa)

Supplies 15% L-DOPA that converts into dopamine that triggers Testosterone production. Noted to fight the feminizing effects of xenobiotics, supplies antioxidant activity that protects testes, adaptogen herb that fights cortisol, shown to improve libido, virility and sperm count. Supplies L-DOPA that stimulates growth hormone. Helps increase dopamine, which in turn boosts male sex drive and erectile function. Shown to improve sperm quality and semen volume.

Luteolin (from Orange extract)(fruit) 60mg / †

Blocks Testosterone-to-estrogen conversion (aromatase inhibitor), strongly suppresses xenobiotics, protects against free radicals.

Daily Values are bassed on a 2,000 calories per day diet.

The cons

  • Premium Price. At $69/£59 for a 1 Month Supply, it's certainly not cheap. You can however save up to 33% when buying in bulk.

  • Only available for purchase direct from Testo Lab Pro.

  • The Branding. While it makes absolutely no difference to the quality or efficacy of the product, It did put me off at first. As a man, I'm not all that “turned on” by macho this and swagger that. A simple “Longer sex and bigger pecks into my 40s” would have been a sufficient enough tagline to real me in! Anyway, who cares about the packaging if it works, eh!?

How to take (dosage)

Testo Lab Pro recommends 4 capsules daily, preferably 2 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon/evening. For optimal results, Testo lab pro should be taken consistently and in conjunction with a strength and cardiovascular training program. These activities naturally boost testosterone more than supplementing alone.

Why we need testosterone

Testosterone is a male sex hormone that plays a vital role in the body. In men, it’s believed to regulate libido (aka your sex drive), bone mass, fat distribution, muscle mass and strength, and the production of red blood cells and sperm. A pretty important hormone for your manhood then!

Signs and symptoms of low testosterone

Unfortunately, signs and symptoms of low testosterone can be quite subtle. It's natural, as men age, that testosterone levels drop (from around 30 years old onwards there's a slow, progressive decrease in testosterone production). The rate and speed of decline can vary greatly depending on various factors such as genetics, activity levels and body composition, etc.

There are certain inflammatory diseases and conditions, such as sarcoidosis, histiocytosis, and tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, Kallmann's syndrome, Pituitary disorders, surgery or radiation therapy, certain medications, and Obesity that can affect testosterone production.

Some of the more obvious signs and symptoms of low testosterone levels include body and facial hair loss, fatigue and low energy levels, atrophy (decreased muscle mass), low sex drive and erectile dysfunction, irritability, and even depression.

Do you need a Testosterone-boosting supplement?

When I review supplements, I always attempt to answer the million-dollar question. Unfortunately in this particular case, I can’t give any form of definitive answer.

Whilst doing my research I found a 2009 study conducted at New England Research Institutes, Massachusetts, which indicates that testosterone levels in men have decreased by 22% in the last 20 years. Just a couple of decades ago, this was experienced primarily by older men and the natural decline from aging, but today it can affect those as young as 22. Research shows that 1 out of potentially every 4 men now have a below-average level of testosterone. It’s not looking great for the fellas then!

If in doubt about your testosterone levels, get yourself to the doctor and arrange for a simple blood test. It’s always better in these situations to have as much information as possible before making any decisions.

Did I feel any difference?

After taking the Testo Lab Pro for 60 days, it's hard for me to determine if I feel or see any difference.

As a personal trainer and sports nutrition specialist, I'm extremely focused, committed and more often than not, diligent when it comes to my workout program and eating a clean and healthy diet. With that said, since turning 30 and over the last few years, sadly I've noticed a fairly steady decline in my strength and muscle mass. It almost feels like I'm going slowly backward and It's certainly not for a lack of trying.

My family also has a hereditary illness called Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease or CMT which affects most of the men in my family. One of the main symptoms of the disease it that it can cause muscle loss and weakness and while I would never suggest taking a testosterone-boosting supplement as a cure (I'm not a doctor or in any way qualified to give any medical advice), I am hyper-aware of the need to prevent atrophy (muscle loss) or at the very least, try to slow it down. If a Testosterone supplement such as this can help keep me strong and give my testosterone a little spike, I'm willing to continue using it to see if there are longer-term benefits.

Note: I took Testo Lab Pro in conjunction with a multivitamin and mineral by Performance Lab.

Conclusion: Should you try Testo Lab Pro?

While supplements should never replace a nutritious diet and healthy lifestyle choices, they can be extremely convenient and great nutrition insurance if you feel you can't get everything you need from diet and exercise alone.

While there are many ways to naturally increase testosterone levels, such as: getting plenty of rest and quality sleep, eating a healthy and balanced diet, regularly incorporating strength training into your workout routine, taking a multivitamin and mineral supplement, getting enough vitamin D from the sun (in moderation of course), minimizing stress and cortisol levels and even avoiding Estrogen-like Compounds, if you feel that despite your best efforts your testosterone levels are still low or in inevitable decline from aging, you may want to consider taking a Testosterone-boosting supplement.

After doing a lot of research into testosterone-boosting supplements and comparing many of the different options currently available, I'm convinced that Testo Lab Pro is one of the very best on the market. Their cutting-edge and no-bull approach to using minimal and only the cleanest ingredients in potent quantities, with none of the synthetic crap you might find in cheaper supplements, is what sets them apart. If you are going to supplement a T-booster, this is definitely the one I would personally recommend.

If, like me, you find that as you age and despite your best efforts to eat well, workout, sleep, limit stress you still find your muscle mass and strength is in a slow, steady, and somewhat concerning decline, why not give it a try.

Testo Lab pro is so confident of its product that they offer a 30-day money-back guarantee if you don't see results or aren’t 100% satisfied!
